My brother recently passed and named me executor of his estate and trust. He left everything to his ex wife and daughter. She wants nothing to do with the house. My question can I sell the house to myself for what is owed on it. He does have a large amount of debt he left behind. I understand if I do this it will have to go through Probate.

The best course of action is for you to get an attorney as soon as possible. The court will have the final say on the purchase price of the house. The court may require it to be sold at fair market value. Do you know what that is compared to the amount owed?
