More details to this question:
Do I have anything I can do now. If someone had a will several years ago - he then goes into a nursing home - is self pay at the nursing home - while he is in the nursing home, his power of attorney removes all the money from his name - he passes away. The power of attorney refuses to share the balance of his estate. Do the people who know they were in his will originally have anything to say about it.

Yes.  If the POA exceeded his authority and you have the original will to probate.  First, you need to probate the will, then bring a turnover action in the Surrgate's Court.
