You need to hire an attorney who practices in the field of probate in the county where the property is located. He or she can assist you with opening an Ancillary Administration. Depending on the facts of the case you may be able to do a short form of probate. If the property is located in Volusia County, feel free to contact my office at (386) 736-1223.
