My mother past away Saturday. I just found out my aunt has made arrangement for her funeral this Saturday without any of here children. I'm a step daughter who has been taking care of her since I was given to her. What can we do to stop the proceeding's?

Given your aunt's high handed approach, you may also want to see a local probate lawyer about filing for a determination of heirship and appointment of someone to settle the estate -- and change the locks on the house.
