QUESTION

What can I do about this?

Asked on Feb 07th, 2014 on Wills and Probate - New Jersey
More details to this question:
My mother passed away November 30 and she had a will but the person that is in charge of distributing what was left isn't showing it to me and I know that I am In it. What do I do in this case to see the will before it is too late to probate it or is it already to late since she passed away in November?

Call the surrogate's office in the county in which your mother lived and find out if her will has been admitted to probate.  If it has, then you can request a copy.  If it has not, then send a certified letter to the person that has your mother's original will and demand that the person admit the will to probate.
