I live in one state and my father lived in another. He passed away. Only blood surviving family is myself and a daughter. His wife has already passed. There is a step daughter. What advice would you have on the house that he owned? Not sure if there is a will or not. The daughter (which is younger than I) won't say anything much to me.
Your answer depends upon the intestate laws of the state your father died in. You should contact a probate lawyer in that state directly or be more specific in your question.
