What happens to co-owned assets after a death?

More details to this question:
I own multiple vehicles with my unmarried significant other. I am debt free and my partner has debt. Should he die first would I be responsible for portions of his debt with the equity from our co-own assets? Both of our names are on the titles of the co-owned vehicles.

If he owns half of your assets, then his half is available to be attached by his creditors.
