Can I still get a Settlement

More details to this question:
I am a truck Driver, I was in the bunk Sleeping, when my co-driver laid the truck over on its side. I had head injury and a broke back that was not life threatening. Third coast under writers out of IL. Is who Carter Express my company uses for there Workmans comp. ins. They paid me Missouri max wages. During my time off wich was only 2 months and the Doc Cleared me to go back to work. My question is can I still ask for a settlement for lost time and wages and pain and suffering. The Doc did not give me a Disability rateing.

In Missouri, there is no compensation for pain and suffering.  However, if you have any permanent problems, which sounds likely, then you would be entitled to a lump sum for permanent disability compensation, regardless of whether the treating physician gave you a disability rating.  If the accident happened in Missouri or if your employer is located here, then you have up to two years to file a claim in Missouri, although I do not recommend waiting that long.
