QUESTION

Can I sue?

Asked on Mar 15th, 2019 on Workers Compensation - Florida
More details to this question:
Well, I work at target and I recently fell from one of the ladders in the backroom while doing some work for them.. I never had any training for using any of the equipment and now they’re telling me that I need to take training on ladders and such. Recently I’ve been getting back pains by the way I fell. Can I sue them because they didn’t train me on the topic when I came in?

Update Your Profile
Since you were injured on the job, you are absolutely entitled to Florida Workers Compensation benefits, but because you are covered by workers comp you can not sue. Hopefully you reported your injury promptly. You should consult with a Board Certified Workers Comp attorney who only represents claimants and no employers and their insurance companies. Good luck and regards
