QUESTION

Can wife get beinfits for emotional stress?

Asked on Dec 28th, 2019 on Workers Compensation - Tennessee
More details to this question:
My husband fell off a trailer at work because of boards not being stacked by another employee they way they were supposed to which resulted in a broken leg October 2017 it’s now December 2019 his case is not settled and after multiple surgeries he now has a amputated leg. Through all of this my husband got hooked on pain medicine and tried to take his own life via gunshot. He survived thank GOD but his case is still dragging out and I’ve been the one to drive to the appointments and back and fourth to mental ward to visit while he was there. We haven’t had sex there is not intimacy at all in our marriage anymore. Just looking for answers as to anything I can file for what I’m been through while all this has been going on.

You did not indicate if you had an attorney. If you have an attorney, he/she should be pushing the case at the Workers Compensation Division  at the Department of Labor. If you do not have an attorney, then call me and I will try to assist.
