More details to this question:
I was hurt on the job August 2011 I ended up with a broke pelvis broken ribs and a bulged disc. Was seen by orthopedic surgeon he set me up for numerous injections and physical therapy. I was out of work for over a year and during that time orthopedic surgeon thought I needed surgery workman's comp sent me to their doctor and he contradicted everything my doctor had said. My doctor had also sent me for a fce which stated I was to stay on light duty. Workman's comp decided to go with their doctor and returned me to regular Duty. Even though I was in pain still I was told I had to return to work. I worked in pain for six years on 4/17 I had a similar accident I was sent to emergency care and put on light duty the emergency care doctor sent me to the same orthopedic and he took me out of work he stated I was never supposed to go back to full Duty per the fce now I am scheduled for more injections which didn't work the first time so I will still be in pain can I sue for compensation

The statue of limitations may have expired on your August 2011 claim. However, if your April 17, 2017 accident re-injured everything then you certainly would have a claim for compensation and medical care under this new accident. You can contact me for assistance. I have been practicing Virginia workers compensation law for over 35 years.
