QUESTION

Does a job in Florida require to pay vacation after being terminated or quitting.

More details to this question:
I quit my job and it seems they took money out of my last check for "tools" which I don't have any given to me. (besides safety glasses that's 5 dollars). On top of that they didn't pay me my vacation or PTO. I had 30 hours vacation and 10 hours PTO left. Thanks for your time!!!

if the tools are not in your possession they should not be deducting that form your payment. The vacation and pto are only earned if that is the company policy. they can be lost if the company has a policy of use them or lose them. impossible to answer without more facts.
