My father had a accident at work years ago and I believe that it caused his death ... I was just a kid then , but now that I'm older I would like to know if there anything we can do to hold his company accountable.

First, I am sorry to hear about your father's death.
Regarding a claim for workers' compensation benefits, a injured worker has a limited amount of time to file a workers' compensation claim. MGL 152, Section 41 states that a claim must be "...filed within four years from the date the employee first became aware of the causal relationship between his disability and his employment. In the event of death, no claim shall be made later than four years after the death."
