How long does it take to receive back pay afyer a workers comp claim has been approved in CT

More details to this question:
Was injured on july 29th 2019, saw my orthopedic dr and was determined i have a torn labrum and bicep tendon. This was 9/16/2019. The insurance company denied surgery and wanted a 2nd opinion from a RME dr. Which wasnt until 11/26/2019. The RME agreed with my orthopedic dr, and said i need surgery. Everything was approved on Dec 17, 2019. I have yet to get any type of payment since july 29th.. how long does it take in the staye of CT to receive back pay after the claim was approved

It can take several weeks especially with Christmas in between.  I would give it a month.  You should have a lawyer for a matter such as this.  It will only get more complicated i the future.  Feel free to call Attorney Monaco or his paralegal Robert Gilchrist at 860-447-3171.
