QUESTION

I had a shoulder injury at work . MRI shows 3 tears and advanced arthritis. Never had a problem with shoulder b4.

More details to this question:
Doctor says I need a shoulder replacement but wasn't sure if it would be covered under workers comp. Because of the arthritis . ... The nature of my job caused the arthritis anyway. I'm in the trucking industry and have been pulling dock plates , closing overhead doors , cranking dolly legs etc. for almost 30 years. Do you have an answer ?

If the doctor says that your duties at work caused the arthritis or was the cause of the need for shoulder replacement, then you would be covered by workers compensation.
