If you have a Virginia Workers Compensation denial by a Deputy Commissioner, you have 30 days to file an appeal of that decision specifying your reasons for disagreeing with the Deputy Commissioner decision. Your appeal has to be filed in writing with the Clerk of the Virginia Workers Compensation Commission.
