QUESTION

Works compensation

Asked on Apr 28th, 2017 on Workers Compensation - Florida
More details to this question:
My name es Osvaldo colon morales. I am currently struggling, trying to find representation. I have two cases up in the air one being wrongful termination and the other a Worker's Compensation case which both go hand-in-hand. Today I was forced to go to mediation alone without representation. My previous law firm admitted that one of my previous lawyers from that firm that no longer works there had missed crucial deadlines in my case which cost me my winning. Instead of facing these wrongdoings they wanted me to except a settlement and walk away with basically losing. In the beginning this was an extremely strong case and open and shut case for winning on my part, because of one of my lawyers missing these deadlines I am now at risk of walking away with nothing and I've already lost everything. This case is literally all I have. In hopes of getting some justice I review settlement and my previous lawyers backed off the case I am now forced to continue on my own without representation.
