would this be considered tort I got hurt on the job back in October 20,13

More details to this question:
I was tripped by a patient dealing with her behavior, I have 3 surgery to correct, the damage first Physician messed up the surgery didn't fix it. I had a second opinion and went to another Physician who worked and did 2 more surgery to correct the damage. I have a full permanent fusion, I was placed back to work full time on the same home where I got hurt by the Patient. every night I was targeted by her, the supervisor knew and did nothing to help,Because of the situation of being put in the situation to get hurt again I have decided to quit the job I saw the liability of getting hurt again.

the employer is immune from a separate Tory due to negligence of co workers including supervisors. On these facts you have no independent tort action.
