wrist injury/sprain denial

More details to this question:
hello, injured my left wrist while moving a heavy pan at work. was sent to doctor who referred me to 9 pt sessions. my employer was unable to accommodate my restrictions so ive been unable to work since the 25th of oct. I was supposed to have a another week of pt and a visit with doctor to reach mmi. I received a denial letter dated on the 11th stating it is not a compensable injury and preexisting condition, what do I do?
