I was on a dating website, and some chick hits me up outta the blue, I believe it said she was like 19 to 22. Anywho we was just messaging back and forth asking each other what we like to do in spare time. And what we other are looking for. Mind you I wasn't setting nor sent nudes as i don't do either. But all sudden she asked for my number I gave it to her. She ended up sending 2 unwanted never asked for nudes. I deleted them immiddiately because like I didn't wanna see that. Couple days later her dad text my phone saying he is turning me into police as his daughter is a minor which I didn't know. As her dating page said she was older than 18. So my question is can I get in trouble? Even tho I never seated her/participate in sending nudes, and I never asked for anything.
OK so typically this is a very common scam. What you describe happens as follows. Guy meets lady on website, Lady claims to be over 18, photographs are either sent and or received or both. Sometime later the alleged father gets on the phone and text you that his daughter is under age and he's going to turn you into the police unless you provide him with a certain amount of money. This is how the scam works. There is no girl, there is no father, there won't be calls to the police. This is a total scam.
