Copywrite

I am a horror narrator on YouTube who does true stories of people off a true story forum called letsnotmeet from reddit. I have asked before about copywriter on a true story and they told me to rephrase the story in my own words because a true story can't be copywritten. Now I have a lady who claims she has copywritten a story from letsnotmeet and I was wondering is that valid or can it cause issues if I redid her story off there from my own perspective. She has claimed she copywrote it off of copywrite. Gov and has her number for the copywrite even if it is on a true story forum. Now she claims she will hit me with legal action if I use her story even if I redo it in my own phrasing.
