More details to this question:
went to the store, the lady checked me out with my items, I get to my truck put things in and all of a sudden, I'm being pushed back from my truck by the self-checkout clerk he then proceeds to go into my truck and throw all my items back into the store basket told me I was stealing. as I snapped out of being shocked, I told him I have a receipt he walks away and says I shouldn't have been so suspicious. I went in talked to the manager he says what do you want me to do about that. i leave and the same guy that pushed me, is outside watching me reload my items I called corpate the next day and explained the problem and asked for an incident report she told me the store should be able to give me one. went to the store no one knows what I'm talking about. i filed a police report and the guy still works there. the store is by my house I'm uncomfortable to go there knowing he can put his hands on me again and nothing be done about it. i was embarrassed.

It does not sound like you sustained any compensable damages during the incident.  If you sustained a bodily injury, you could sue for your medical expenses, lost time from work, and physical pain and suffering. There is a law called the "shopkeeper's privilege" that authorizes a merchant to detain a person suspected of shoplifting to investigate ownership of the property in a reasonable manner for a reasonable time.
