Hi, would it be possible to sue Amazon for displaying advertisements on their kindle fire lock screen? Because if you purchase the device itself and you own it what right do they have to continue making money from your device by displaying lock screen ads, it's not even in one of their apps and you should be able to use the device you bought without viewing ads because using the tablet is not some continuous service you're signing up for. if not, then is it possible to sue on the basis that it's illegal to advertise gambling to minors? For example, my two younger sibs got the tablet for the holidays and I've already counted 5 different ads on the lock screen for casino and slots games.
My Kindle does the same thing. However, I agreed to this for the discount Kindle offered off the list price to accept this feature.
