How can I recoup money spent by my poa

More details to this question:
Our son is incarcerated in Marianna, he gave his exgirlfriend poa, and is getting Va benefits put in her account on my behalf. She has not givin my parents my money, like she said she would. Can I make her give me my money? She said she was putting it in a seperate savings account. What recourse do I have?
