I-129F petitioner with criminal history 10 years ago

Asked on Dec 22nd, 2022 on Sexual Abuse - Florida
More details to this question:
Just over 10 years ago I was charged with sex with a minor, and convicted of felony battery. Would I have to divulge the felony on the I-129F form? I see a spot asking about sex assault but wasn't convicted of that.

If a person has been convicted of offenses under the Adam Walsh Act, then he is ineligible from sponsoring a foreign National for lawful permanent residency. An exception may apply if the U.S. sponsor can show the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that they do not pose any risk to the foreign national whom they are sponsoring. They must demonstrate that they qualify for this exception beyond a reasonable doubt.
