I have a friend that produced adult content on a website. The material was copyrighted on that website and a company is using the material without permission to sell paid adult content. The material was taken illegally and posted on other websites throughout the Internet. There have been 2 million views. Do they have a case? And are they possibly owed any fees.

If your friend has his own copyright he can send a DMCA take-down notice. He can also sue for money damages based on HIS coyright.
