car lemon law in CT

More details to this question:
i purchased a 2007 car less 4 months of purchasing the car i had to change the radiator a job that cost me over $400.00. couple of months later the engine went bad i had to purchase a whole new engine and the mechanic told me i also needed to chance my transmission because the car was still not working properly. i spent over 2,000 on the car i called the bank and told them to pick the car up because i was spending more money on the car then the car was worth. now they are suing me for i believe $9,000.00 i'm no longer working not sure what my next move should be

Based on your question, it does not sound as though you qualify under the lemon law for relief. I don’t see any implications of a wrongful repossession. It sounds like your next step may be to consider filing a chapter 7 bankruptcy.   However, deciding to do so should be based on the total amount of unsecured debt that you owe.  I would not file simply for the 9K alleged debt.  You should consult with an experienced bankruptcy attorney as soon as possible to better understand your options and strategies.  Bankruptcy has been the focus of my practice for fifteen years.
