QUESTION

Human Right Violation | Civil Litigation

Asked on Feb 17th, 2023 on Identity Theft - California
More details to this question:
I booked a room at a hotel in Beverly Hills for one night and was upgraded to a better room upon check-in as part of the normal process for Lifetime Platinum members. After going out for dinner, I returned to my room to sleep for an early morning flight. However, I was woken up by a phone call from an unidentified person asking for his name, and when he refused to answer, he was threatened with someone coming up to his room. Someone eventually arrived at his door and asked him for his ID, but he refused to provide it. Afterward, around 12 police officers arrived, advised him that he was trespassing, which he was not, and determined that there was no crime. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue with the company, little progress has been made, and I am seeking assistance to navigate the process and resolve the issue with the hotel. Additionally, I have video evidence and have noticed that the reservation has been deleted from the main system. Rather odd!
