received a call from a detective stating that I texted incall to escort ad on adultfreefinder that was involved in sting operation he told it came from my number and said my first name he told me that that the ad I texted was an underaged girl but I would not know that she was underage and that he understand that I'm not a human traffiker because I have clean background he said not to hang up or I would be arrested and it will take 5 to 10 days for arrested warrant to be issued he explained to what a soliciting of minor meant and repeated if I hang up that I would get arrested he told me to google the number he was calling from to see that it was from a police station he wouldn't give me his business number or he wouldn't meet up with me in person he gave 2 options first option get arrested second option was to come to the precinct to fill out sexual evalution and that I would have to do 78 hours community service and pay 1900 in fines and register as sex pedophile I hanged up on him
The chances are almost 100% that this is a scam. Even if the identification of the phone number can be authenticated., Spoofing phone numbers can easily allow the reader on the receiving end to see a real live match to a law enforcement number. The police never call, they show up at your door. So it's got to be a scam. Block his number.
