QUESTION

Do I have a real civil or small claims case?

Asked on Nov 23rd, 2015 on General Practice - Ohio
More details to this question:
My ex wanted me to get her a loan for $2500 with Eagle Loan company. She and I made up our own contract as well that she would pay $216 a month until 9/2016 to pay remaining balance. She has not paid anything and now the company is looking to garnish my wages because the loan is in my name. Do I have a legit case to sue her so i wont be held accountable for this nor do i want my wages garnished.

You may have a case agains tyour wife, but that has nothing to do with the obligation you undertook with Eagle Loan.  Whether you are able to collect from your wife or not, you are obligated to pay Eagle Loan, and, once it obtains a judgment against you, it will likely be able to garnish your wages to collect.
