Will, Final wishes, etc.

More details to this question:
I have a Will made out and my Son as Exucator, but I don't believe he wants to do it.. I have a Power of Attorney and a Living Will also. My final expenses to be cremated are paid for. I am retired at going on 70 yrs of age, health isnt really bad. My Will is just a simple one, I don't have assets, I only have furnishings and personal property. A Car and household items in my aptartment. I was just going to have my son donate, give away or pitch items or take what he wanted. Really I guess its mainly a cleanup of my apartmnet and to dispose of items. As I said I dont think my son wants to be bothered with it or me. So whats involved in hiring a lawyer to go over my will and make any changes and act as Exacutor on my passing. Does he need to be on retainer? Would a lawyer even do it ? Something so simple. What kind of expenses would I be looking at? I dont know what other type of questions to ask.

I recommend making an appointment with an estate planning attorney.  He or she will review all your current documents and go over your current family situation.  You can discuss your concerns, and the attorney should provide you with different ways to address these issues.  There are a lot of pieces to the puzzle.  Just sit down with an estate planning attorney and he can handle everything for you.
