What you are doing is actually extremely counterproductive to both getting "done with it" and receiving a restoration of your driving privileges. You had better see an attorney. You may well get the jail time, a continued suspension or revocation, and an enhanced longer suspension or revocation due to your driving while suspended. The position which you are taking appears to be very foolish and will cause you significant additional problems in the future.... Read Answer

No matter what you do your license will still be suspended for a time anyway. Going to jail will not hurry that up and may delay getting your license back. With an attitude that you do not want to do the classes, then the judge will probably give you all the time they can.

I received an OVI, wondering the sentence for my case. Am i going to serve any jail time or lose my license? how long?

An OVI charge may carry jail time above the .17 legal limit.  The mandatory minimum jail time is 6 days for a High Test OVI charge, but 3 days may be served in a Driver Intervention Program.  You may also be able to avoid jail time altogether if you are able to negotiate a settlement to avoid the High Test charge.  You may want to speak with an experienced attorney regarding your options to avoid the High Test charge.  The OVI charge may also carry a 6-24 month license suspension.... No. Do it if you have any legitimate grounds to contest the stop. Otherwise you automatically lose your license for a year in California. Winning the hearing is tough, but you cant if you dont try.
