In general they would arrest you because the place (i.e., the car) was where the drugs were found. Like being in a room filled with drugs. The problem the cops have is knowledge. Here you have none. my son is in putnamville correctional facility he was sentenced to 15 years 5 of it suspended 5 of it probabtion and do 5 years in prison

He can request a sentence modification with the Court that sentenced him.  One of the things that the Court can do is put him in community corrections to serve the remainder of his executed sentence.  It is likely that the Prosecuting Attorney will object.

Usually a bail reduction request is made by the attorney at a preliminary hearing.  You can write the letter, but it is a good idea to copy his attorney on it, the prosecuting attorney on it, and then the court.  Otherwise, the judge would likely ignore it, which he or she may still do.  I would give the letter to his defense attorney to seek a bond reduction. ...
