There is a process for expungement from FBI records. It starts with the Connecticut court system. Specific forms have to be supplied to the Bureau. You can start by calling the FBI to verify their records have been expunged (the court system or state police should have sent the information). However, be aware that if your arrest was noted anywhere such as an article or a "police blotter", including a local, hometown type, newspaper, there is a record of it. Anyone can search the internet and find back copies of the paper listing the arrest. There is probably almost no way to expunge all records from the internet.
