Veteran brother committed suicide in 2007. Death certificate lists PTSD as contributing factor.

I condolences for the loss of your veteran brother in 2007. In the past, I have seen the use of murder having no statute of limitations such that the traditional statutory limitations for wrongful death do not apply. The argument was always of last resort and absolutely no guarantee can be made that a judge would find that the statute of limitations had not run. I would contact a lawyer in your area to examine the case law to see whether this argument has been made in Connecticut.
