Can I sue my company for my thumb that had been slammed in trailer door at work and somebody else caused my accident?

Answered 11 years and 11 months ago by Georges Herman Shers (Unclaimed Profile)   |   16 Answers   |  Legal Topics: Personal Injury
You have a worker's compensation claim and can not file a civil suit against your employer. If the other employee deliberately injured you, you can sue the other employee, but your case is worth very little so at best you would have to file in small claims court and represent yourself.

Well, you put your finger on it: identity theft. The girlfriend will have to report her Mom to the cops and/or DA to deal with. Also, any bills she gets, she should contact the finance company, explain that this is identity theft, fill out affidavits, etc.

How do I proceed with a personal injury claim?

Answered 12 years and a month ago by attorney Greg Baumgartner   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Personal Injury

Do some research on who is a good attorney in your area and most offer no obligation consultations which can get you started on what you need to do with an injury claim from a car accident.   You may need to call more than one attorney but speaking with attorney should be the first step if you have not been through  the insurance claims process before with a personal injury.... Get a lawyer and go to trial. There may be plenty of material to cross examine the cop.

I think that I already answered this. They hold themselves out to be experts. If they broke something, then they are responsible for the reasonable expenses for all necessary repairs and resultant damages. Sue them. Then, go to the State to get their license revoked.
