Based on your question, it does not sound as though you qualify under the lemon law for relief. I don’t see any implications of a wrongful repossession. It sounds like your next step may be to consider filing a chapter 7 bankruptcy.   However, deciding to do so should be based on the total amount of unsecured debt that you owe.  I would not file simply for the 9K alleged debt.  You should consult with an experienced bankruptcy attorney as soon as possible to better understand your options and strategies.  Bankruptcy has been the focus of my practice for fifteen years.
