Is it legal to show US currency on film and why?

Answered 10 years and 9 months ago by Ernest Vincent Linek (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer
Yes - it is legal. A law permitting the filming of cash for use in motion pictures is found in the U.S. Code under the topic heading, "Printing and Filming of United States and Foreign Obligations & Securities" (18 USC 504), and it reads as follows: "Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, the following are permitted: . . . (3) The making or importation of motion-picture films . . . for projection upon a screen or for use in telecasting of postage and revenue stamps and other obligations and securities of the United States, and postage and revenue stamps, notes, bonds, and other obligations or securities of any foreign government, bank, or corporation." What can I do if my boss threatened me?

Answered 12 years and 4 months ago by Anthony M. Salerno (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer
There are two things you may want to consider. The first step you should take is to investigate filing a harassment order. Go directly to the court of proper jurisdiction and complete the necessary application for the harassment order. A second concern you should have, is the secret recording of your boss's statements. In Massachusetts, for example, the secret recording of an individual is prohibited, (see M.G.L.ch. 272 sec 99). You may be best served to contact an experienced attorney to assist you with this matter. An attorney can advise you as to securing the harassment order and prevent you from possibly violating the law.... Read More

My ex filed false police reports on me. What can I do?

Answered 12 years and 7 months ago by Anthony M. Salerno (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer
Without delay, secure written statements from all your witnesses. Also, if there are emails, voice messages or text, save all of them. You want to be in a position to be able to put on a defense and nothing does it better than having witnesses and physical evidence.

Is it the same for my probation, or is it possible once my parole ends in June for me to get the medicine I need?

Answered 13 years and a month ago by Anthony M. Salerno (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer
You should immediately contact your attorney and have them file a motion to modify the terms and conditions of your probation. Secure medical documentation to support your claim from your treating physician. Present the certified medical support/documentation to have medical marijuana as a justified treatment along with your motion to amend. If you present a strong enough medical argument, you should prevail.... Read More
