If your husband was not injured, and the only thing that happened was the deployment of the air bags, I would assume that the dealership/manufacturer will do the necessary repairs - particularly since it is such a new vehicle and presumably under warranty. If you get an attorney involved, it is only likely to slow things down. However, if there were personal injuries suffered as a result of the airbags, you may want to involve a personal injury attorney - if the injuries were significant. If not, I would probably just consider myself lucky that the problem was detected in a a non-emergency and deal directly with the dealership. Good luck going forward.... Read More
