How do I know if the police violated my rights during a no knock search warrant?

Answered 12 years and 3 months ago by Edward J. Dimon (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer
i am assuming that the police had a judge authorized search warrant. if so, the judge authorizes the house to be searched and the method of getting into the house. i would have to review the search warrant and the supporting affidavits. the police are given wide discretion concerning 'no knock', 'flash grenades', 'damage to property while searching', etc. please let me know if we can help. the cost to review the search warrant, supporting affidavits and arrest warrants would be two hours or $780. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600... my son was assulted by correctional officer

Answered 13 years and 4 months ago by Edward J. Dimon (Unclaimed Profile)   |   2 Answers
these cases are 'fact sensitive'. you need to have strong testimony from your son and from other inmates because the officers will support the defendant officer. we have successfully sued the county correctional facility for two deaths. we have successfully sued the police for a third death.  you must also file a 'tort claim notice' within the prescribed period. when did the assault take place ? ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600 ext 235...
