The question is: have you been arrested for, charged with, or convicted of any offense?" Well, you said: I was arrested. Obviously, when asked, you must say yes, if you wish to be truthful. I have seen valuable employees of 20+ years discharged for minor crimes that were not disclosed on the employment application. While many employees will overlook minor events, they will not overlook dishonest answers on the employment application. I always say: When in doubt, disclose. You should hire a lawyer to go to court to recall the warrant. A lawyer can do this without you present if the underlying charge is a misdemeanor, so it is less risky for you.
