I would suggest that you go to a 2nd body shop and get an estimate as to what it would take to put the car in the condition that it should have been in had the 1st body shop done the repairs correctly. Tell the 2nd body shop that you are considering suing the 1st body shop. A  written statement from the 2nd body shop about what is wrong and how much it would take to repair is hearsay and can not be used in court so you need to find out if the 2nd body shop will agree to provide you live testimony in court about what the 1st body shop did wrong and how much it would take to make it right. The 2nd body shop may not want to get involved so you might need to look around until you find a body shop that is willing to provide live testimony. If a body shop does agree to testify, then you can sue the 1st body shop in General Sessions Court for the costs of the repair. It's possible that Tennessee procedure is different, but in the states in which I practice, a summons (which is normally accompanied by a complaint or other pleading) does not require you to come to Court, like a subpoena; it requires you to file a responsive pleading (or motion) admitting or denying the allegations against you and asserting any affirmative defenses and/or counterclaims you may have.  If you don't file such a response within a given period of time (usually between 20-30 days) you may have a default judgment entered against you.... I doubt that the order of protection was denied.  What probably happened was that the interim restraint, which the man would have sought during the period before the application was heard, was denied, but (although it bodes well for your success in the case) that doesn't mean that the application for a protective order is necessarily going to be denied when it comes up for a hearing.  If you don't show up, you will almost certainly lose.  This might have no practical effect on you, as you no longer live in Tennessee.  For all I know, the Tennessee court may not even have jurisdiction.  But it also can come up in job interviews, loan applications, and in dozens of other ways that can screw up your life.  I don't think you should ignore it.  To the contrary, I think you'd be will advised to consult a Tennessee attorney who is experienced in this type of practice, and see what he/she has to say.... From your question, I'm going to assume that your mother doesn't live with your father, and that your father will not voluntarily return your stuff.  Otherwise why would you be worried about being charged with anything?  If that is the case, it doesn't matter who you designate, ordinarily nobody can enter your father's house without his permission.  If he refuses to return your belongings you could try to involve the police, or you could sue him for the goods or their value.... Theoretically, if the Company was somehow negligent in not having enough security in the parking lot, or defrauded you by cliaming to have security when it did not, or the coworker was somehow working within the scipe of his/her employment when he/she keyed your car, your mutual employer could be liable, but all of these theores are big stretches.  A person's employer is normally not responsible for their personal tortious acts unrelated to the performance of their job....
