It really depends on your paperwork which I would half to review to give you a full and complete answer. Try and take the car back or get them to repair it first and then see what happens. Good luck.

From the wording in your question I will assume you are in high school. First Amendment Rights, such as free speech, can be limited in a school setting. In this instance if you video shows the faces of other students, and it was made on school property or on school time, such as on the school bus going to or coming from school or on a school sanctioned trip - field trip, going to a sporting event, etc. - then the school has the obligation to protect the identity of the other students in the video. Parents of students under 18 have the right to determine when or if their children are shown in a video related to their school experience. If you know all the students in the video you can obtain permission from them (if 18 or over) or from their parents to post the video. Present these permissions to the principal and request permission for you to post your video.... Read More

More information would be helpful in order to fully answer your question, but i will give it a shot based on what you have given. it sounds like your friends aunt has some sort of custodial control over her, likely stemming from a Court Order. What your friend may want to do is petition that same Court for an emancipation, basically allowing her to make her own life decisions. Assuming that the custodial arrangement was set up in Florida, unfortunately that is the State in which the new petition would also need to be filed. It may be worth your friend's time to at the very least call an experienced family law attorney in Florida and see what rights and options she has available.... Read More

Yes they can. Otherwise, they would never be able to investigate allegations of parental abuse or neglect. No child, nor anyone else for that matter, ever has to speak to CPS or the police.

I think that someone who records a private conversation runs afoul of federal wiretapping laws. And blackmailing you with it is a felony in and of itself.

About the only thing she can do is give him a 30-day notice to quit and then file an eviction action. Unless they bought things together, his property is his and hers is hers. This is why the non-breadwinner really needs to force a marriage. She should consult with a local family law attorney to figure out what she can do.... Read More
