What can I do if I am receiving harassing calls from an unknown number?

Answered 12 years and a month ago by Georges Herman Shers (Unclaimed Profile)   |   6 Answers
Why do you not return the call to see what it is about. Just do not give any personal information. Otherwise, look on line at your local superior court for the case number to see what the case is about. There is no reason why the sheriff would be involved unless it was an eviction case.

Answered 12 years and 2 months ago by Ronald A. Steinberg (Unclaimed Profile)   |   8 Answers
Alcoholics never admit to being alcoholics. The doctor is entitled to diagnose your condition by what you tell him and the results of your liver tests. Disagree all you want, but the smartest thing you could do is to join an AA group.

How do I go about pro se filing of civil suit?

Answered 12 years and 3 months ago by Georges Herman Shers (Unclaimed Profile)   |   8 Answers
It is difficult for an outsider to believe you have that much evidence. You should go to the Counsel on Judicial performance, the D.A.'s Office, the State Bar, etc. if you really have any where close to that amount of evidence. But if you do not, do not harm a person's reputation by spreading false accusations. See if you can find someone who is neutral and you trust who will look over a small amount of your paperwork to see if you really have what you think you do. As to filing a civil suit, some of the complained of actions are barred by judicial immunity and unless you can show there was a cover up to hide evidence so that you could not get it until recently, a 2008 incident is going to be barred by the statute of limitations. Federal judges are very strict as to cases that come before them and move the case along quickly; you can sue in state court for the same allegations, although I am sure that you do not trust the local judicial system....
