Answered 2 years and a month ago by attorney J. Allen Fiorletta   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Criminal Law
If your question is how much an attorney is going to charge you for representation with respect to a probation matter, that is going to vary. I would suggest that you call a few differebt attorneys. The fees will likely vary and be based on a few different factors.

Yes. If you are owed money and they have not paid you, you may file a lawsuit to recover those funds. It would have to be filed in the federal court where you reside. Federal court litigation is complicated, so you should discuss your situation with an attorney who is experienced in federal civil litigtion.... Read More

YOu probably do not have a case but, I would lodge a complaint with the store telling them how you feel and that you will not be returning to their store. They will probably give you a gift certificate as an apology. ALWAYS get a paper receipt at any store.

Weather or not my situation is legal?

Answered 2 years and 2 months ago by attorney Gilbert Borman   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Labor and Employment
Most Labor cases can go on a long time, usually the company wins unless they do something really stupid. In this case, there is only 1 question: do you want the job back or not? You can contact more experienced labor counsel but ultimately, it looks like they want you back. Best of luck to you and sorry I cannot be of more help.... Read More

Is a lease valid if law is broken in it

Answered 2 years and 2 months ago by attorney Gilbert Borman   |   1 Answer
LL broke the law with the 2 month security deposit and probably has broken a couple of other laws too (did LL tell you what account your money is in?) You probably will not get a lease but abusive landlords, faced with a lawyer who knows the law, can be badly beaten up in court,

How does the process work?

Answered 2 years and 2 months ago by attorney Dana B. Carron   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Medical Malpractice
We would need to speak to you to get more details, but it sounds like you have a worker's compensation case, rather than a medical malpractice case.

The landlord has constructively evicted you. There is no lease and you have no obligation to stay in an uninhabitable property. You need to send a writing that they have breached the lease and that they are not entitled to rent when the property could not be lived in safely. You can move out and sue for all rent to November when the furnace died. You also can demand the return of 100% of your security deposit. good luck to you... Read More

No, you cannot make the other party sell personal property. With a marriage of this length, you would be well-advised to speak with an attorney to assure that you receive an equitable distribution of the marital assets. For instance, is spousal support going to be awarded? If so, how much and for how long? This one issue alone could account for tens of thousands of dollars over the course of time. Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like to discuss your situation.... Read More

can i sue my bank

Answered 2 years and 3 months ago by attorney Gilbert Borman   |   1 Answer
Not sure why they are doing this. You need to give them a letter asking them for a writing explaining their policy to you: Why are they holding the funds? What is the legal basis for their actions? What will it take to release the funds? it might be as simple as closing the account, getting a check made to you and ex jointly and then you endorsing the money over to her. I am sure she will do what it takes to get paid. If they still refuse, you may have to go to court against them.   the good news is their conduct may constitute conversion and the damages for that can be significant.   ... Read More

If the new lease has been signed, he cannot evict unless he has cause. If you are late on the rent but always pay along with any late fees, the landlord does not have the right to evict. As long as you can show monthly rent always getting paid, he has no right to evict but you might have to be able prove it in court. So records of payments is key. Landlords can make your life miserable so you options are: fight him through the year and know you will not get renewed next year or make a plan, find a new place and tell the Landlord when you find a new place and change the lease month to month (has to be in writing) until you find a new place.   best of luck to you...
