Since you were given a citation for MIP and unlawful use of a driver's license, then obviously you have a court date at which you must appear or else the court will issue a warrant for your arrest. You either need to appear in court to represent yourself or hire an attorney to represent you. Your attorney can probably negotiate a plea bargain to get the charges reduced to a lesser offense or dismissed with probation. Police don't have to administer a breathalyzer to under-age drinkers. Undercover police officers don't have to announce themselves or give you their names.... Read More

Your question requires an attorney consultation. It is not a simple question that can be answered on this type of forum. There are many factors that would need to be considered and evaluated. I strongly suggest that you contact an experienced attorney for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your situation. He/she would then be in a better position to analyze your case and advise you of your options.... Read More

The court will charge you an additional fee for the Failure to Appear charge. There is nothing you or any attorney can do about fixing the Failure to Appear charge. It will not be reduced to a lesser charge or dismissed.... Read More
