You will more than likely need a joint financial sponsor. The new i944 form requires a declaration by your husband that he is self sufficient. An inquiry into his income, assets credit score, as well as his family's financial situation is looked into (so your usage of public benefits could be an issue as it must be disclosed). His age, health, education, Ability to speak English, and other criteria are all looked into. Consider working with an attorney to represent you from start to finish. Some of us charge a very affordable flat fee for representation and counsel anywhere in the USA can represent you. ... Read More

Is a verbal contract good in indiana

Answered 6 years and a month ago by attorney Bruce Robins   |   1 Answer
It depdns wha the contract was.  Most oral contracts are as valid as written ones (but much more difficult to prove) but some types of contracts (those that cannot be fullyperformed within a year, for the sale of real estate, etc.) require a writing.  The main problem is proof - if you have no written document, it is only your word against your opponent's.... I need a defense attorney

Answered 6 years and a month ago by Gregory Philip Bowes (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Criminal Law
Yes, you do need a defense attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, the judge will appoint a public defender to represent you. With these complicated facts, you should have an attorney start working on your case right away. I just found your case online, and it appears you were just given time to hire a lawyer.... Read More

Once you hire the private attorney, he or she will notify the court that there is a new attorney. At that point, the judge will permit the public defender to withdraw from the case. What this means is you have to hire the new attorney before anything else can happen.

This is a nationwide problem.  Appeals must be taken by noon of the day after receiving a written discharge notice and are rarely successful because the hospital is only required to present the information supporting its decision while the patent and the patent's family rarely know to involve the doctors and present the full written picture.  You might want to talk with a local elder lawyer.  If so, use the Find a Lawyer function on the website of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (www.naela.org)... Does an Intellectual Property Attorney assist in obtaining a licensing deal with a manufacturer?

Answered 6 years and 4 months ago by Bharath Reddy Konda (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Intellectual Property
There are a lot of ifs and buts in your question. If you are an inventor or co-inventor who works for an organization full-time or contract, then your employment contract determines the ownership of the patent. Sometimes, if the inventor organization is a university, then they may let the inventor contributor have a percentage of royalty based on the intellectual property licensing agreement. Most of the time, the inventor organization who you work for becomes the owner of the patent. You only become the exclusive owner of an invention when you invent something outside of your office hours using own resources and tools without any help from employer intellectual property.  Based on the above-stated answer about ownership of a patent, please make an informed decision about patent licensing.  Disclaimer: The response is general in nature and cannot be construed as legal advice. If you would like to have legal advice, then please consult any competent attorney privately to discuss your case and establish a proper attorney-client relationship. Banks ordinarily do not look for or keep records of next of kin or hold money for them for nine years.  "Open beneficiary status" would seem to indicate that the account was not payable on death to you.  It would then have passed to his estate.  Ordinarily, his estate would have closed five years ago. There are folks out there who, for a fee, offer to find and help you collect a supposed inheritance.  Dream on.... Read More
