First, this is not legal advice. Second, there is insufficient facts here to determine exactly what you are looking for. Based on the small set of facts, you have an outstanding matter that you would like resolved. Regardless of the situation, you should find counsel to either assist you in clearing up your matter, or getting your license back. Should it be that you have plead to the case, you would need to find counsel to re-open the matter on some issue, which could be difficult to do.     ... Read More

If this matter is still pending, based on your facts, there is a plausability to having a reduction or dismissal. But, one would have to be fully immursed in the case to determine where the problems with the prosecutions case are. The State has to prove each element of both charges and applying your facts to them, they may not have a solid case. In addition, you were cooperative with the police (except for running) in handing over your phone. Find counsel.   Nicholas Froning... Read More

i need to know if im going to get my license suspended

Answered 9 years and 10 months ago by Nicholas Emil Froning (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Criminal Defense
Obtaining points against your license is a consequence that is diffucult to remedy through only time and possibly a defensive driving class. Depending on the charge on your accident and with the addition of this speeding ticket, you have started to accumulate points. This is a matter that is possibly remedied or mitigated by the hiring of a lawyer. Obtaining counsel for the speeding ticket should set you back a couple hundred dollars and that money may be well spect to possibly keep points off your license and your car insurance lower.   Best,  Nicholas Froning...
