You will simply need to decide if comimg "out of pocket" to hire a lawyer is worth the expense, hire a lawyer and have them intervene and possibly sue the board to force action orfind out why they have taken none. If its not worth spending several thousand dollars on a lawyer to intervene, then its not worth picking the fight to begin with. ... Read More

Generally with such issues a lawsuit is the most effective but also the most expensive means to address such issues. While some people will opt for the cheaper letter writing demands, etc., if they have been unresponsive even after complaints to some consumer agency as described, such letters from a lawyer are often just a waste of money. ... You made a foolish deal, without a lawyer, and now have to deal with the result. You need to sue him for the payments and be prepared for the bank to sue you since YOU werent released from the contract with them or the buyer refinanced you out.

You're wasting your time - as even if you get a judgment you are unlikely to collect a dime from anyone on disability. You made a poor decision there - filing suit would likely be yet another.

"you would argue" all you like - BUT - bottom line is you signed some documents and then cancelled on a holday, so not sure what that entails. You of course have the right to dipsute anything you want to. However. rather than "arguing" you may want to focus on resolving the dispute in some fashion, bearing in mind that at some level, if this esacalates the expense of dealing with it in court and with lawyers will possibly exceed the amount in dispute. There should be little doubt that you owe the first plumber some money  especially if you had them come out on a holiday weekend. IN the future - don't put your signature to deals you don't intend to abide by. Signing up with one plumber and them searching for a better deal aftwerwards is NOT the way to properly handle such issues for the reasons you now see.  As to whether one plumber or the other is more "reputable" no one can tell until the a comparison of work is made and the job performed. By example, many times people accuse the LICENSED plumber that pulls proper permits as being "inflated" and go for the cheaper and illegal unlicensed plumber doing unpermitted work. Cheaper for obvious reason, unless some thing goes wrong. ... Read More

How do I prove someone breached a contract?

You will likely need to hire a lawyer, at some expense, to sue him to obtain a judgment. Problem is if the guy is a shade tree mechanic thief, you made a poor choice in selecting them and giving thgem money up front, and it may just be money lost if you can't actually and efficiently collect it from them. ... That transaction makes little sense, but you would have a contract type remedy, most likely. You may want to hire a lawyer to intervene and address this issue whether sending a demand laetter or possibly filing a lawsuit.

There is no such thing. The scope of a lawyers representation is defined by the hiring organization, not a random pre-stated list. Much of this is dictated by the expense the HOA/COA is willing to bear in legal fees. Lawyers will take out the trash and clean the units at $400.00 an hour but you probably don't want that scope of service. ... Read More

Not generally. What you should do depends on what was added and what the issues are. You may need to retain a lawyer to address this.
