The only answer anyone can give here is maybe. You have turned over the answer to that question to a judge, assuming you plead guilty or are convicted at a trial.

Your friend needs to sit down with an attorney and discuss the facts. No one can give decent advice "secondhand" , meaning through another person who wasn't there and is not a lawyer (i.e. you).

Not sure I understand the question. Do you really mean that you think the officer directed his child to question you instead of doing it himself? Or do you mean that the child just happened to be there during your conversation? Did he find the chair? If you weren't involved with a theft, there is no possibility of punishment. My questions highlight why you should talk to an attorney in your community and give the lawyer all the facts to get your question answered.... Read More

You may report the actions to the prosecutor, who may prosecute him for battery, or an attorney for a civil suit against the officer and the department. Now, if you are the one that vomited, it might be a hard sell to convince anyone that you were harmed, but if it was from someone else, than you might have a case.... Read More

If the gun is not legal for you to possess (and being at your house without her would be in your possession), it being in "her name" does not change that illegality.

The witness has not yet "failed to testify". If a trial is held, the witness fails to appear, and he is found not guilty, he would be released immediately.

A lawyer in your community has the best answer for this question. I would think you should start with anger management counseling for yourself and then go from there.

There is a lot here that makes no sense. For example, your question is how to get dad out of jail, but you go on to say you bonded him out the next day. If he is bonded out, how is he in jail? You talk about how "We" don't know anything, but I have no idea if that "we" includes your father. Maybe the best thing to do is to have your dad sit down with an attorney and talk to the lawyer.... You may be mixing up a couple of things here. If you have a felony theft CONVICTION, that will be on your record forever until it is expunged (if that is possible in the other state). If you have an outstanding felony charge that has never been resolved, the statute of limitations is not involved, and you can be taken back to answer for it at any time. If you simply stole from someone and have never been CHARGED with the crime, it is likely the statute of limitations is up and you do not have to worry about it any longer.... Read More
